Tim Fearer

Transitional Pastor & Head of Staff

I arrived officially on November 27th, 2016, and began a journey with the Glenkirk family for a period of perhaps up to two years as you all regroup, set a new direction, search for, and secure a new permanent Senior Pastor. I am so enjoying the richness of this congregation and the life and ministry we share together. Previous to coming to you I’ve been in a number of places and done a number of things. I’ve had more than enough schooling, served my home church, pastored two other churches, spent eight years as a missionary in Turkey, and most recently traveled the USA as a teacher/trainer for our denomination (Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians / aka ECO). I bring all that experience to you now as a partner with you in our journey together. And by the way, my elderly mother (96!) lives in Santa Barbara, as do my brother and his wife. Their three sons – my beloved nephews (the two older ones have recently married) – are spread up and down the West Coast. With no children of my own, they get lots of attention from their uncle! See the links below for various articles and words from me. I’ll be adding to them from time to time.   Together with you, Pastor Tim
