Our devotionals offer insight, verses, and prayers that lead up to the next sermon and include prayer requests from our missionaries and mission partners. Our devos are created by a team of volunteers and our Pastors.

We are located at 1700 Palopinto ave, Glendora, CA 91741. Our main office is accessible through the parking lot on Sellers St., right next to the apartment complex. Our building entrance faces south, and has a sign saying “office” on the building. 

Sunday Morning Parking: 

You are welcome to park in any spot in our parking lots for our Sunday services. 

BSF, WBS, and Memorials: 

For these events and Bible studies, please use our main parking lot on Palopinto Ave. We ask that you do not park in front of the office unless you are utilizing the office in order to save room for our staff. 

Accessibility Parking: 

For accessibility parking, please use our small lot on Sellers, St. located at the back of Fellowship Hall. For those who require additional assistance, we have a golf cart ministry to assist people in getting from parking to the sanctuary. If you’d like to utilize this service, simply flag down one of our golf carts when you arrive. 

At Glenkirk, there is no set dress code. Feel free to dress up, or come in casual clothing, whatever you are most comfortable in!

Sunday Programs: 

On Sundays, our students join big church on the first Sunday of the month, and have their own program for the remaining Sundays during the 10:45am service. For more information for middle school or high school, click here.

Midweek Programs:

Our midweek program, called ENGAGE, is on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm from September – May. During the summer, we do not have a midweek program but have frequent events. Click here for updated information. Still have questions? Click here to email our Student Ministries Director. 

Sunday Programs: 

Our KidMin has a 9:00am and 10:45am program. If you are checking in a child on Sunday mornings, please bring them to the KidMin Passthrough. The passthrough is on the south end of our campus, across the patio from the Worship Center doors. Please check your children in 15 minutes prior to the start of service. Midweek Program: 

From September – April children ages 3-years-old to 5th grade are welcome to attend AWANA. AWANA is a great way for kids to connect with scripture, the church, and each other. For more info visit our AWANA page. Still have questions? Click here to email our Children’s Ministry Director. 

Not all events at Glenkirk require a sign-up. To see if there is a sign-up for an event and for more information, visit the page for the specific ministry on our Ministries menu option. If an event does not have a sing-up, join us at the start time of the event at the specified location. If you’re still having trouble or have any questions about an event, you can call the office for assistance at (626) 914 – 4833. 

The word Presbyterian comes from the Greek noun presbuteros, translated “Elder” in the New Testament (e.g., Acts 14:23, 1Timothy 5:16). Presbyterian churches are churches in the Reformed theological tradition that are led by Elders. There are two kinds of Elders: Ruling Elders and Teaching Elders. At Glenkirk we call our Teaching Elders “Pastors.” 

Due to this Glenkirk:

• makes important decisions as groups of Elders and Pastors rather than individuals

• sees church leadership as a partnership between Pastors and Elders 

• believes Elders and Pastors should be chosen by the congregation

Reformed theology affirms the essential basic beliefs that Christians across denominations and throughout time have also ways believed. This is what C.S. Lewis called “Mere Christianity,” which is summarized in the Apostle’s Creed. Additionally, Reformed theology also emphasizes the following themes: 

• God created the world good and created people as His image bearers to steward His creation (Genesis 1:1-28). 

• Sin has corrupted everything in God’s world, including the entirety of human nature (Romans 5:12, Jeremiah 17:9). 

• God is at work in the world fulfilling His plan to redeem all creation (Romans 8:19-30). 

• The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and life ( 2 Timothy 3:16). 

• the Bible is a single story of God’s covenant of grace with His people (Luke 24:27). 

• God is the one who initiates a relationship with people (John 6:44). 

• Our relationships with God and with each other are ordered by covenants (2 Corinthians 3:6, 14).

Session is what we call the body of Elders who are responsible for the mission and government of the church. Elders are to pray and work for the growth of all members and for their equipping for ministry through personal and pastoral care. Glenkirk Elders are ordained for life, but are elected to serve on the Session for a term of three years, unless they are filling an unexpired term.

“Elders are given authority and responsibility, along with pastors, to oversee the spiritual health of the congregation as well as the congregation’s faithfulness to God’s mission. Elders may also be asked to preach and teach. Elders shall be elected by the congregation.” (ECO constitution)

Our Deacons are the care giving front line of our congregation. They are responsible for caring and praying for our congregation, hospital visitation, care for shut-ins, prayer ministry, funeral arrangements, and hospitality.
